where I’d like to go for dinner

It’s not often that I am drawn to a restaurant purely on aesthetic, but this one is so stunning that I would be willing to take a risk without knowing the menu to in order experience this setting.  Located in Beirut Lebanon, {a place I would love to visit}, is a relatively new restaurant called Liza Beirut, which resides on the second floor of a former palace. The décor appears to be gorgeously exotic.

Liza Beirut

The chef owner Liza Soughayeur {who has successfully run Liza the restaurant in Paris since 2003},  puts a modern spin on classic Lebanese dishes for the menu.  Seems like a wonderful place to go for a post work drink and mezze {small dishes} or a must visit during a trip to Beirut.  While the menu for this restaurant has not been posted, you can get a feel for Liza’s culinary style by viewing the menu for her Paris location.

Officially added to the bucket list!

Have a great day,
