What are you doing New Year’s Eve? | Part two

With the weather in Boston right now, whether going out or staying in on New Year’s Eve, the idea of a cocktail dress sounds impossible {wayyyy to cold for that}.  Regardless of your plans the idea of dressing up a sweater dress sounds ideal for those of us living in a cold climate!   I love that if cut right they look stylish but still keep you warm.  Below is a board I put together for some outfit inspiration based on a black and gold theme, a classic look with a bit of sparkle.

NYE Hostess at home

1.  wool sweater dress / 2. earrings / 3.  nail polish  /4.  Ring / 5. Serving Tray / 6.  leather boots /
7. Pants {very much on sale right now}

And, should you be hosting I wanted so share an idea I came across with you via glitter guide.  It’s this concept of a Wish or New Year’s Resolution Wall.  You can have your guests write down a wish for 2013 and affix them either to a wall or streamers depending on how you’ve planned to set-up your party.  I feel like writing down your goals or wishes for the upcoming year, makes them more of a reality, so why not help your friends start the new year off on the right foot by having them put their wishes out there?

Here’s to YOUR wishes coming true!!

Have a great weekend!
