Weekend Happenings

Happy Friday to you!!

I will be signing off early today as I am taking my mother to the airport to get her new puppy!!  Very exciting.  My parents are taking in an apricot toy poodle who was going to be bred but when my mother reached out to the breeder, she agreed to sell the puppy to my parents.  For those of you who have pets you know how much joy they bring to your life, I am excited about this new addition to my parents home {as is my puppy Sofie!!}.  They are going to have so much fun!

Whatever your plans are for the weekend, I hope you have a great one.  I have a few things on my agenda that I wanted to share with you as you finalize yours!!

Untitled #22

This week I finished my taxes and am finalizing the print execution for my business cards {I have temporary business cards to hold me over until I could land on the exact process}, now it’s time to finish my office set-up.  Something very clean and minimal is perfect for me.  I have the mini parsons desk in white lacquer from west elm and this summer put together an inspiration board above it.  Now it’s time to really streamline and organize!!

Have you seen J.Crew’s new spring catalog?  I must say I am really impressed with their prints this season.  This hummingbird  print clutch is adorable!!  I think a stop by the store for some spring inspiration is a must.

Neiman Marcus is running a beauty event through the end of this weekend.  You can have your colors done and they have all sorts of promotions and giveaways to go along with it.  They started getting in the spring colors, so no better time finalize your spring look!!

Don’t forget to enjoy the moment and toast to something this weekend!!  This elderflower, champagne cocktail via Zested is a light and fragrant way to do so.

To make:
Fill a tumbler with ice.
Fill three-quarters of the glass with dry champagne or prosecco.
Add thinly sliced cucumber and fresh mint.
Top off with St-Germain.

Cheers to a great weekend!!
