Toro NYC!

If you were to ask me what my favorite restaurant in Boston is, I would tell you I don’t have one, I have three and one of them is Toro.  Traditional and modern Spanish tapas, sangria, paella {3 different versions by the way a traditional paella, one version with rabbit and snails, and a vegetarian option} all amazingly well done, paired with a lively vibe and great energy, it’s so much fun for a group of friends or even a romantic date.  As well it is a great space for an event.  Whenever I am there it turns into a three hour outing consisting of tapas coming out at a staggered pace, each one better than the next.

I just learned that James Beard winning chef Ken Oringer and his chef-partner Jamie Bissonnette opened a second location at the end of September in the Big Apple!  How exciting for them, and even more exciting for New Yorkers.  It appears to have the same character as the Boston location aesthetically but is two times larger and located in Chelsea on 10th Avenue with views of the Hudson river.

A huge congrats to the team at Toro, I hope New Yorkers fall in love with the restaurant as much as Bostonians have.
