Once in a while you come across a tablescape that is simply perfection.  Today Vogue.com featured Brett Heyman’s Upper East Side apartment which is beautifully designed with bright colors, texture {and just enough white} to balance perfectly.  As I was perusing through I saw her dining room with her table set and thought to myself, this is color and layering done right.  The china was a wedding gift and I love how they designed the setting to compliment the china and also pull the vivid colors of the room together.

Gorgeous!  I am swooning over it.

I could tell that the linens {placemats and napkins} were from D.Porthault as soon as I saw them, they have that stunning yet delicate look and embroidery work . {click on image below for source}.
