Hello loves and happy monday!
I came across this table on Twitter that was set for an event at Aerin Lauder’s Hampton’s home and loved the casual yet elegant setting. She has such incredible taste and an entire line to prove it! To me this is truly summer table perfection that would work nicely for both a pool or beach setting, and transitions well from day to night with it’s blue and green color palette. I really like the mixture of the blue/green shades in the glassware, paired with white in different textures. It is a great combination of beautiful bright colors and versatile enough for all of your summer entertaining.
Here is how to get the look. Make sure for your table cloth you go all out and pick a bold blue and white pattern that you love. I would suggest finding a fabric and having it made, it will be a piece you use all summer long.
1 | these fleur de lys dinner plates from anthropologie are an easy basic and reasonably priced.
2 | bamboo flatware just says summer to me. I think it’s a great staple for outdoor entertaining.
3 | these custom menus by Happy Menocal add a great deal of character to the table and menu presentation. they may look familiar as they complimented this wedding tablescape I featured a few weeks ago nicely as well.
4 | I have long admired the french porcelain/pottery Astier de Villatte. This adélaïde bowl is a great serving piece to have in your collection and is handmade in Paris.
5 | this heart etched glass by Oscar de la Renta is a nice way to add texture to the table
6 | a monochromatic vase of white flowers goes a long way. I love the Peonies Aerin opted for, however this time of year, hydrangea work just as well.
7 | a white linen napkin with a simple border is simple with just a hint of detail.
8 | this fleur de lis glassware comes in a combination of perfect blue/green shades that would help you easily achieve the look.
Wishing you a great start to your week!
