seeing {polka} dots

Polka dots have been in style forever and while I don’t like to overdo them, a detail here and there can pull a room, table or look together effortlessly.  Keeping them monochromatic for a bolder statement {as SJP does in the image below} works really well also.  Today I was inspired by a medley of  black and white dots used as bold fashion statements.

row 1 | this would be a great space to host a party in, I love how dots bring an element of  festivity to a space | this dynamic duo of dots paired multiple dot patterns together in a way that looks incredibly retro glam | SJP and her husband Matthew Borderick photographed for Vogue, the dress is perfect, stunning, elegant and quite the statement piece all while being a classic.
row 2 |  valentino giant polka dot dress |  polka dot tights
row 3 |  love this backdrop. a great play on polka dots in a modern way.  would be adorable as a birthday party backdrop.
row 4 |  never too tired for polka dots. this combination is well executed with a fitted sweater paired with a more whimsical skirt and varying dot sizes | Dolce & Gabbana polka dot halterneck swimsuit {currently on sale!!}

wishing you a wonderful Wednesday,
