Prabal Gurung for Target!

Last Fall Target announced they would be collaborating with designer Prabal Gurung for their 2013 fashion collaboration, and this Sunday his 80+ piece capsule collection will debut in target stores and on target.com.

Born in Singapore and a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design, he launched his first collection in 2009. Today he is at the forefront of American designers; His designs have been worn by First Lady Michelle Obama and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, and now he is THE designer for Target’s 2013 collaboration {not too shabby!}.

The collection for Target was inspired by love and will include a combination of clothing, shoes and jewelry {bangles, necklaces and earrings} ranging in price from $19.99-$50.00.   It showcases bold colors and prints that he’s become known for, along with some statement accessories.   Below are a few highlights of what he’s come up with and you can view the look book for the full collection here.   The collection will debut in stores and on-line with some pieces in the collection exclusive to target.com.

Aren’t these bold colors and floral prints so nice to see?  I am loving the white background floral print jacket and long sleeve tee along with the ankle cuff flat sandals. If I am not completely snowed in on Sunday, I will absolutely be checking these pieces out in person at Target!!  Which piece from the collection are you eyeing for yourself?

Wishing you a great weekend and for those of you in the Northeast US, stay safe in the snow.
