new year’s nuptials

I hope you have all had wonderful holidays over these past few weeks!  With New Year’s Eve around the corner, I have been thinking about the idea of New Year’s nuptials.   I love the idea of a New Year’s Eve wedding – planning one for a client down the road is definitely on my list.  The added festivity of ringing in a new year, and a new marriage together while creating an experience for the bride and groom’s closest friends and family to celebrate that marriage would be a very special way to ring in a new year.

I envision an evening filled with champagne, oysters, fireworks, impeccable lighting – definitely in a city setting, and impossibly chic tablescapes.

Being a guest at a New Year’s Eve wedding calls for the perfect cocktail party dress.  I love the idea of a navy blue dress with trendy silver accessories for modern elegance.
