less is more

happy monday!

I hope you all had a wonderful summer weekend.   I recently came across this table setting designed for a WWD beauty summit and I absolutely love the clean lines and simplicity of integrating strictly greens for the centerpieces.  I have always been a fan of monochromatic flowers for an event, as I feel they make a big impact in a large space, and the idea of going with all greens in lieu of flowers is certainly a viable option.

This idea of going only or mostly with greens translates nicely to gardens and terraces as well and shows how less is more in terms of styling {not necessarily budget}.

During my recent trip to the Hamptons and Montauk, I was inspired by the beauty of the lush gardens and the stunning greens.  The boxwood hedges in the perfectly manicured gardens were a statement as you drove through the neighborhoods.  This South Hampton home below was recently featured in Architectural Digest, and is just one example of how the simple addition of greens with less focus on flowers can make a stunning visual impact.

Wishing you a beautiful day filled with inspiration!
