Hostess with the mostess – part two

Happy almost Friday!!

So now that you’ve organized your menu, decor, shopping, cleaned your home, created your playlist and mailed your invitations, you want to make sure YOU look festive and feel fabulous when you open the door and welcome your guests to your home.

{by the way, this door decor is by far my favorite that I’ve seen.  so simple and elegant, makes me want to paint my front doors black and emulate the look!!}

As a follow-up to yesterday’s gold theme.  I have put together what I think is an elegant holiday hostess look and created two iterations of it via Polyvore for different budgets.

2012 Holiday Hostess Look - high

2012 Holiday Hostess Look - Low

Is the Aurelie Bidermann cocktail ring in the first board not stunning?  Such a great signature piece.

Once you have your outfit and your party is up and running, it’s time to eat, drink and be merry with your guests!!

Music Tip:  I am always looking into good music for entertaining.  There is this one CD that is definitely a hit for the holidays, it’s modern and loungey and the songs have a great beat, it’s addicting actually.  I’ve gifted it to several friends and colleagues over the years and everybody loves it, I suggest you add it to your holiday collection for some great tunes that people have not necessarily heard before, it’s called Christmas Chillout and it’s only $12.58!

Have a great day,
