The way gold adds richness to a look, table or space is really resonating with me right now.  I’ve been working on a photoshoot concept for this upcoming weekend which will incorporate many gold accents for a festive look.  Today I am inspired by gilded details from fashion to fête as well as a few gold accent pieces that I currently have my eye on.

gilded goodness

1 | this iron chandelier would go perfectly above my table for Thanksgiving.  The event planner in me wants to install it just for the event {which of course will not be happening}.  However, I do think it is a lovely way to add glamour to a dining room setting.
2 | these metallic jacquard pants by paul & joe, paired with a cream sleeveless top and strappy gold sandals would be a great holiday look.
3 | I have always loved these Dibbern Golden Forest Plates, they add just enough detail to a neutral with gold accents.
4 | this Phillip Lim 31 Minute cosmetic bag can also serve as a clutch and I love the look of it as a clutch because it can easily be dressed up or down.
5 | such a great serving tray.  square gilded lacquer and optional monogram available, it’s a great piece to have on-hand for holiday entertaining and also a nice gift.
