On July 7th the team at Dior hosted their 2014/15 couture fashion show at the Musée Rodin in Paris. The set-up and stage set was exquisite to say the least.  Guests walked through the museum’s stunning garden to enter the circular show space created specifically for the event.  The real wow factor here is the clean white space with black chairs and walls lined with white phalaenopsis orchids that came out through hidden openings – it created such a dramatic backdrop while still being really clean and stark to enable the garments to be the focus {as they should always be when showcasing a collection}.

The circular structure was representative of a spaceship for guests to travel through time during the show with a collection incorporating architectural and historical silhouettes and more modern pieces.  You can view the video of the show here.  It is definitely worth watching; while the photos are stunning, the video with music really transports you to the event. You can see how the show went from old-world glamour to modern day designs and how the setting was on par with the equally exquisite collection – I am in awe with the execution.

Wishing you a great Monday and stay inspired!
