embracing the storm

We are in for quite the blizzard in Boston according to pretty much every weather report I’ve heard in the past 24 hours. While I don’t love the weather in Boston, I do believe that you have to embrace the seasons.  A blizzard can be an opportunity to just retreat and be cozy and there is something incredibly wonderful about that.  I love the look below and think it’s adorable for this time of year – adding whites to your wardrobe can be uplifting and this look is cozy chic and effortless.  I also like this look for a Super Bowl house party.

All you need to add is one of these amazing hand knitted wool blankets via Etsy.

A snowstorm would not be complete without my favorite soup by What’s Cooking Good Looking.  An incredibly healthy lemongrass broth with all sorts of vegetables and ingredients to keep you warm.  It is my go to snowstorm meal and I can’t wait to make it.
