easter on my mind

Happy Monday!

This is one of my favorite times of year.  First signs of spring always mean new opportunities and lots of color coming our way with flowers and fresh produce.

This  weekend I am hosting Easter so I am in the midst of finalizing those details such as the menu, table settings and flowers.  I love to host Easter as it’s a time where you can start to bring in spring colors into your decor and table and infuse lighter flavors into your cuisine.  Once I have finalized my plans I will share the details with you.  In the meantime, I wanted to share some elements that have inspired me and may help you as you plan your Easter celebration {or spring celebration at that}.

easter on my mind

Row 1:  1 a simple and clean table setting /2 white sweet pea flowerspretty easter desserts
Row 2:  Easter shoes for your little girl/ a pretty Easter greeting
Row 3: chocolate asparagus for your table setting or dessert station /an amuse bouche I am planning on serving: chive blini’s with creme fraiche, quail eggs and tarragon {recipe}
Row 4: I had the perfect apertif last night before dinner which was lillet rose on the rocks  – it is lovely in color and flavor.  This lillet rose cocktail with grapefruit and gin would be the perfect apertif for any spring meal. {recipe}

Have a great day!
