ballerina ballerina!

Last night I had the opportunity to see a beautiful ballet performance; the classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty,  performed by the Boston Ballet.  I had forgotten how absolutely beautiful everything about the ballet is.  The gorgeous costumes + colors, the poise of the dancers, the grace of the performance, the impact of the music and the stunning architecture of the space itself.  It was breathtaking and an inspiration all at once.

So with that, I am inspired by this absolutely adorable 4 year old twins’ birthday party featured on On to Baby and designed by Icing Designs.

The party included, a dessert table set-up as a ballerina bakery, a ballet lesson with ballet outfits for the guests, as well as a coloring table where the birthday girl and her friends colored in a ballerina drawing – ADORABLE!! {all sources below}

Could these cookies be any cuter or more beautiful?

Even the cupcakes had tutu’s!!

{notice the ballet slippers and tutuesque flower on the chandelier}

Beautifully done!

Wishing you a day filled with grace and POISE,
