an enchanted runway

Fashion shows are like works of art.  From the setting to the décor to the models, their make-up and hair and of course the clothes.  This is all created to bring the designers’ inspiration for the season to life and tell a story in a way that the industry will not only understand, but remember.  What I love most about them, is the opportunity to take a vision for a collection and bring it to life through this experience of a fashion show.

During Paris Fashion week, Raf Simon’s {Artistic Director} for Christian Dior created an installation at the Musée Rodin by building a beautiful, layered and magical tent styled with wisteria, orchids and lilies cascading from the ceilings as well as a stunning vertical garden on the front of the tent as guests arrived {how is that for a branded photo backdrop?}.

This space complimented the collection beautifully as it was abundant with gorgeous prints, shiny fabrics, gold eye make-up and elaborate embellishments.
