an austrian extravaganza

This weekend I stumbled upon stylist and Chanel brand ambassador, Caroline Sieber’s breathtaking european wedding to Fritz von Westenholz featured on vogue.com, and to be published in the September issue of Vogue.  This wedding was held in Vienna and is the perfect balance of glamour and fashion with an authentic Austrian flair.

Starting with a rehearsal dinner at the Heuriger Wine Tavern, where the dress code consisted of dirndls for girls, lederhosen for boys. How much fun is that? Why not have a rehearsal dinner with a fun theme and save the formalities for the big day?

According to the Telegraph UK, she wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture dress designed by Karl Lagerfield for her wedding, and a custom Christopher Kane dress for the reception.

The talented stylist posted this picture as her wedding dress arrived.  Having your dress arrive in a box like this is an absolute dream! {Photo: @carsieber via UK Telegraph}The wedding ceremony was held at one of Vienna’s oldest churches and the ceremony was hosted at the Palais Pallavicini.

Wising you a happy Monday.
