a sensational sunday brunch

This Sunday Brunch was featured on Style Me Pretty Living and is nothing short of sensational!!  And I think we could all use some sensational right now.  In terms of a brunch concept, who doesn’t love Sunday brunch?  And to host it in your own home with a close group of friends is a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning {or early afternoon depending on your typical brunch hour}.  Concepted in partnership with  Pressed Cotton  {who sells lovely “goods for gatherings”} so that they could show some of their new spring pieces, the hero of this event is a beautifully put together juice/cocktail/mimosa bar set-up on a custom ice sculpture to keep fruit & juices cold {FABULOUS!!}.  This event was styled by Salt Harbor Designs and captured by Millie Holloman Photography.

Love the simplicity of the food as well, just a nice mix of perfect small-sized breakfast items.   Below are some elements I put together for hosting a Sunday brunch of your own.   All you need to do is add your food and juice/beverage bar and you will have yourself a lovely gathering.

Hosting a Sunday Brunch

Row 1:  I absolutely love these Vi n t a g e Juice Glasses for a breakfast/brunch event.  If you prefer, you can easily substitute for a more basic juice glass such as these. / These  Juice Jars are great for serving & storing extra juice

Row 2: This White Cake Plate from Pressed Cotton is incredibly versatile can be used for so many occasions / Don’t forget favors!!  These Tupelo Honey Cork Bottles as favors would be adorable!! / This Shake, Rattle Roll Shaker is adorable for mixing cocktails

Row 3: Bright & happy colored linens will add to a brunch setting nicely.  I love the idea of combining patterns such as these flower & polka dot napkins with these tartan plaid napkins / If you are hosting a juice bar nothing can replace freshly squeezed juices.  This Citrus Press would be enormously helpful / Stainless steel straws are perfect for a breakfast themed menu and juices / These Drink Tubs {as featured in the photos above} are perfect to store your freshly squeezed juices over ice.

I don’t know about you, but I am completely inspired by these stunning images to host a Sunday brunch for a future event.   This would be a lovely way to host Mother’s Day.
