a party in the garden

These next two months are the perfect time to host a party in your garden.  Most gardens are peaking with flowers and plants in full bloom.  Just as you layer a garden with plants of different textures and colors, I envision a party in the garden designed with layers of color and texture & patterns to create an enchanting setting.

POISE. | A party in the garden

1 | garden dinner plate
2 | Bernardaud Jardin salad plate
3 | stainless steel bamboo flatware {currently on sale}
4 | bamboo charger {a staple for summer}
5 | lime green tumbler
6 | New York botanical garden tablecloth also available in round.
7 | sunflower place cards
8 | I love the idea of serving a flavored iced tea in the garden something fragrant.  Having a large pitcher on hand for your guests is a wonderful way to get started. This Sophia Dahl recipe for a lavender & earl grey iced tea seems perfectly fitting {and lovely}.  I also like the idea of using this tea with lavender & rose petals to make iced tea with.
9 | chambray fringed napkin
