a new find | lou & grey

Recently I was introduced to an interesting new brand named Lou & Grey.  It originated from Ann Taylor Loft’s lounge collection that received such a great response from clients, the company has launched it into it’s own brand and retail space.  They recently opened a beautiful new store at the Natick Collection and the design of the space compliments their collection perfectly; it is very welcoming at first sight from the outside,  minimalistic, clean lined, and zen filled with soft dressing staples as well as a curated collection of third-party vendors selling products that are focused on crafted | hand-made items.  They curate the collection for each store by seeking out vendors that are meaningful the local community which is brilliant!  At the Natick store they had pieces from C.A.S Handmade based out of Providence, RI, MCMC Fragrances based out of Brooklyn, NY And Earth tu Face a plant-based skin care line created by two herbalists in California.

What I liked about the store and the collection was the style and ease of the basics, the quality and fit, the friendly staff that was so helpful when trying things on, and excited about this new brand concept, as well as the library of curated goods.  This combination made this store feel very different.  Easy – yet stylish basics, paired curated goods makes it somewhat of a holistic shopping experience if you will.  I left with a lounging outfit, an incredibly comfortable well fitting pair of skinny jeans that I have been living in, as well as a new cookbook and body scrub.  I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces and starred those that I purchased on the links below.  They are currently running an exclusive on-line promotion with up to 50% off with the code: {ALLMINE} which makes an already friendly price-point an incredible deal.

3 | tunic | skinny black jeans
4 |**skinny {super-comfortable} light wash jeans | **quilted sweatshirt {looks really cute on – slightly longer in the back}
5 | heart blouse
6 | drawstring pants

It was definitely worth a trip out to Natick from the city to explore this fabulous new store concept, I highly recommend a visit to experience it for yourself if you live nearby.  It’s a great place to stock up on some cozy basics for Fall & Winter.

Here is an idea of how I’ve put the jeans and quilted sweatshirt together for my complete fall uniform.  You can just as easily pair this look with a great pair of flats instead of heels.
