POISE. Thanksgiving featured on Camille Styles!

Today I am very excited and grateful to share that one of my projects has been featured on one of my favorite entertaining blogs Camille Styles!  It ran yesterday.  The post is of a photo shoot that I worked on with a former fashion industry colleague and friend of mine, Victoria Mello from Victoria Mello photography for a Modern Glam Thanksgiving photo shoot.

The idea behind the styling was to create inspiration for Thanksgiving from the perspective of modern glamour integrating new and old elements with a color palette of aubergine, gold and blush pink.  I wanted to create a look that is festive for the holidays, and unique and unexpected for Thanksgiving, but that can also be adopted for a multitude of glamorous holiday celebrations.

The whole table concept was created out of inspiration from the marbleized menu card {which is actually an invitation design by Kelly Wearstler for Paperless Post} and espresso cups that I found whilst on a family holiday in France over twenty years ago.
The gold elements bring warmth to the color palette which I think is important for winter holidays as well.  Here are some additional images that you may not have seen.

Before I sign off, I want to take an opportunity to recognize my partners in this project who helped me bring it to life through a wonderfully fun and collaborative process: Vicki for her photography talents and capturing the the essence a modern glam Thanksgiving, Domingo for brining his cocktail artistry to life and creating the perfect holiday cocktail, the team at Table Toppers for providing the perfect aubergine linens, and my lovely intern Claudia for being my right hand throughout a great deal of the process.  I am incredibly grateful and this gives me even more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Wishing you all the best as you prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving in your own homes this week.
