a holiday cocktail bar

Happy Holiday weekend!  With holiday parties in full swing, there are so many options for setting up a holiday cocktail bar.  I came across this simple and elegant concept and love the look, it would work quite beautifully through New Year’s as well.  You can easily create the festive overhang of assorted snowflakes, accordion globes and other glamorous baubles {see resources below}.

Dress the bar up with classic silver serving pieces, and balance out the look with a pop of your favorite colored glasses and plates. Serve a nice holiday sangria or sparkling punch for your evening cocktail, and as for the menu, oysters, assorted olives and savory hors d’oeuvres are a great place to start.  Sometimes the best things are the simplest.
