a few of my favorite things | May

May 1st!  Let’s hope this means warm weather is on its way – we’ve had a non-existent spring here in Boston, thus far and I think I speak for most Bostonians when I say, we are more than ready for the spring weather to arrive. I do hope those of you living outside of  New England have been graced with a beautiful Spring thus far.  Here are some of my favorite things of the moment.  I am inspired by spring blooms, and fresh ingredients not only in my recipes but also in my body & skincare products…

POISE. | A few of my favorite things | May

1 | this rustic summer table scape is so charming. The romantic purple flowers and mason jars filled with lemonade make the setting incredibly inviting.

2 | this gold Chloé cuff, would compliment pretty much most looks – such a great wardrobe staple.

3 | I mean seriously?  Could these baby brogues be any more precious?  Handcrafted with natural canvas via etsy. {the shop owner is on holiday until May 12th but is still taking questions/orders}

4 | THE BLUE COCOON – this cream created by former model May Lindstrom is such beauty goodness in a jar.  It is incredibly nourishing and simultaneously calming to the skin.  Hand-crafted with natural, sustainably harvested exotic ingredients and pure plant oils such as Yangu oil, and blue tansy, it is perfect to wear at night to aid your skin in regenerating and it smells amazing!!  If you live in Boston you can pick it up in store at Follain as well.

5 | This tea + thyme cocktail would be perfect for a garden party or wedding.  So pretty, and simple ingredients perfect for summer celebrations.  You can find the recipe here.

6 | I am working on having a small vintage chair I found last year both reupholstered and refinished, and  I am inspired by the simplicity + texture combination of this brass and camel hair calf  bench.

Wishing you a beautiful May,
