As I was putting together my favorite things of the moment to share with you, I wondered if the blues in my selections reflected winter blues…I don’t think so. We have been getting a lot of snow in Boston and are due to get more – this time of year I like to start thinking ahead to spring and about shedding some layers in the coming months into lighter clothing and color palettes. Pretty shades of blue and neutrals are inspiring me at the moment along with some Spring friendly wardrobe staples.
2 | I am always making lists, sketching and taking notes during my client meetings and for projects, so it is important to me to have a nice notebook for these meetings. This one is sleek looking, and hand made in Nepal with handcrafted paper. It would also make for a thoughtful Valentine’s gift.
4 | This suede trench by Gucci for spring is mere perfection! The color, material and cut make it an effortless transition piece from winter to spring.
5 | I came across this adorable hot chocolate on a stick. You simply add steamed milk and stir in. Since we are in full-fledged hot chocolate season right now, I love this concept for an event, enabling guests to choose their chocolate preference – especially at the end of the night before they exit. The 6-pack would make for a great Valentine’s gift as well for anyone who loves hot chocolate – the chocolate is preservative-free with no artificial flavors.
6 | I’ve been perusing spring trends and clothing. This ring by Chloé looks simple yet I love the statement it makes worn on the middle finger with gold bangles. Adorned with a Swarovski pearl, it makes a great everyday accessory.
7 | Azure agate! Gorgeous color and of course agate makes for such beautiful coasters. The color is everything and would add richness to a bar or coffee table.
Wishing you a February full of love and good things,
