a BEAUTY-ful summer party

A product launch is always an exciting event to concept, but make that product a beauty product and you can have enormous fun with it.  Clinique recently hosted a summer cocktail party at the stunning 620 Loft & Garden in New York,  to launch its reformulated iconic yellow moisturizer, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion Plus.

The event was executed by Van Wyck & Van Wyck and featured on BizBash.  I love how the team at Van Wyck & Van Wyck tastefully brought Clinique’s updated heritage product through in a modern and interactive way at this event.  Weaving in their iconic yellow was a prominent detail and done in a way that was not overdone.  Integrating a brand’s signature color is important for purposes of consistency and brand recognition, whether the brand is new or established and I think you’ll agree the Clinique’s signature yellow was elegantly integrated…

Starting with guests entering through this wall created out of 4,000 bottles of Clinique’s Dramatically Different Mosturizing Lotion Plus, upon arrival.

For entertainment guests had a few options including having their portraits painted by fashion illustrator Izak Zenou, {check out his fabulous + fun stationery collection here} which they could take home as keepsakes OR they could have their pictures taken by fashion photographer Sophie Elgort {not your average photo booth!!}.

During sunset guests were treated a performance by an aerialist flanked by topiaries with the Clinique logo.  Now this is what I call a summer cocktail party!!
