4th of july fashion

Happy week of the 4th!  I hope this means at a minimum a few days off for you to enjoy some holiday festivities.  My fourth will be relatively low key.  We typically spend it oceanside and watch a parade and bonfire while sipping a summer wine.  I am keeping it casual this year and think something like the look below is what I’ll be sporting.  I will admit the inspiration for this look is all based on the clutch featured.  I saw it at an event that I attended at M.Flynn last week and love the Americana detail.

1 | aside from Theory, James Perse has some of the best basics {in my opinion}.  Can’t go wrong with a good quality basic white cotton tank top on a summer day
2 | this medallion {statement} necklace by Aurelie Biedermann is a splurge but a fabulous piece.
3 | add a little bit of navy arm candy with this classic bangle from J.Crew
4 | skinny cropped boyfriend jeans by rag and bone
5 | as mentioned above, this Clare Vivier bag is a great piece.  it’s a foldover clutch and you can also have it monogrammed as seen here
6 | there is no better time for a fabulous red on your hands and or toes.  supermodel by Deborah Lipmann is a beautiful red
7 | these bell sandals made in capri are festive and really fun for a holiday sandal.

how will you be spending your fourth of July?

Agreed on the clutch- it was the first thing that caught my eye before I even started reading. Enjoy your holiday!
